Lord Moynihan talk postponed

Picture of BOA Chairman Lord MoynihanA lecture by the chairman of the British Olympic Association that was scheduled to take place in Medway next month has been postponed until next year. 

Lord Moynihan had been due to speak at the University of Kent's campus on Wednesday, 19 October on the theme of what lies in store for the Olympic Movement in the 21st Century. The talk has now been rescheduled for 31 October 2012.

Colin Moynihan is also a member of the Olympic Board and a non-executive director of The London Organising Committee for the Olympic Games and The Paralympic Games. 

He was a member of the International Olympic Committee’s 2009 Congress Editorial Committee, its 2016 Working Group and is currently a member of the IOC International Relations Commission.

The former rower won a silver medal in the 1980 Olympic Games. He was also a gold medallist in the Lightweight Rowing World Championships in 1978 and silver medallist at the 1982 World Championships.
