MYGSt Margaret's retain their MYG crown

St Margaret's Junior School have been managed to retain their Mini Youth Games champion title for the second consecutive year.

Pupils were presented with their winners' trophy at the end of year presentation night after the final event, MYG Athletics, held at Medway Park as part of the Medway Festival of Sport.

St Margaret's won two individual competitions during the 2011/12 season - Football and Badminton. It was their overall consistency throughout the year that was enough to secure them the overall crown.MYG Euro 2012 winners

In a close race this year they just pipped Hempstead Junior School to the title, who amazingly won 4 individual event titles this year but missed out on winning the overall series title, and Wainscott Primary School took a well deserved third place as well as the highest place small school award.

Hoo St Werburgh Primary School were awarded the overall fairplay trophy for the year, ahead of Lordswood and Barnsole Junior School.

Parkwood Junior School won the Participation Award, given to the school that uses the most children for the competitions through the year.
