Gillingham FC’s KRBS Priestfield Stadium has been approved as a training camp venue for football and archery.

The 11,500-capacity venue is a small, modern football stadium with a 104m by 68m (7,072m2) pitch. The longer dimension of the pitch lies on an east to west axis.

Visiting teams will benefit from athletes’ changing rooms, physiotherapy rooms, a hydrotherapy pool, a sauna and steam room, administration offices, a media centre and kitchens.

There is also a players’ lounge that can be used by visiting athletes, containing a cinema, a snooker room and additional relaxation areas.Picture of the gym at Gillingham FC

You can expect a warm welcome from the club’s staff, who regularly host large functions catering for more than 500 people. The club’s 65-strong hospitality team are able to cater for every aspect of a function and the stadium has previously been the Football League’s chosen venue for a conference.

Gillingham Football Club’s first-team squad train at the nearby Beechings Cross facility, which can also be made available to visiting teams.

The stadium’s facilities can be made available to visiting athletes 24 hours a day.

"The Medway Stand is fully equipped with physiotherapy rooms, a hydrotherapy pool, a sauna and steam rooms to assist with the athletes' training and a lounge bar, a cinema and a snooker room for them to enjoy during their free time.

"The club's offices, media centre and press room could also provide the coaches with a good administrative base.
