Pre-Games training

Welcome to Medway, the ideal training base for Olympic and
Paralympic teams ahead of the London 2012 Games.
Medway, located in England's south-east and just 30 minutes from
Olympic Park, is home to some of the UK’s top specialist sporting
facilities.

It offers five facilities that have been approved by LOCOG as
official Pre Games Training Camps for 16 Olympic sports and eight
Paralympic sports.
The jewel in the crown of these facilities is Medway Park,
Medway's new government-funded Centre of Sporting Excellence.
Medway Park can officially cater for 13 Olympic sports on one
compact site, making it the seventh largest approved multi-sport
training venue in the UK.

It has a proud reputation for hosting international sports
events.
